Microbrewery project Karel de Grote Hogeschool
Five students academical master in industrial sience biochemistry and elektromechanic who had as a bachelor test, “the building of a micor brewery”, could count on the help of DIRAC Industries for the sponsoring of heating elements and a fully equipped control panel.
The goal of the project was to build a full laboratory system for brewing beer on a large scale. Meaning 50 to 100 liters per batch. Starating from malt, the system has to be able to produce a drinkable beer at the end.
DIRAC Industries was pleasantly surprised by the smooth cooperation and the enthousiasm of the students. We wish Hanne Hulselmans, Inne Helskens, Karen Theun, Laurens Roevens and Nikolaas Vandenwyngaert all the best in their following years and carreers.
Congratulations also to the management, professors and tutors of the Karel de Grote Hogeschool – Campus Hoboken.
